An infographic series that focuses on socioeconomic and health issues facing Black women. Paired posters highlight misogynoir (the anti-Black racist misogyny that Black women experience). Poster one focuses on domestic violence, which involves homicide, physical abuse and psychological abuse. Poster two focuses on the health disparities that Black women face stemming from racial biases and discrimination. The design involves a monochromatic brown color palette, to complement the different shades of melanin, and pink as an accent color to add a feminine feel. The posters are designed to work together or independently.
